The cost of that exclusion is significant — $25 billion is lost by migrants every year through remittance fees. This is the challenge we’re hoping to address with Novi, whose goal is to provide people everywhere access to safe and affordable financial services through the Diem payment system, which is built on blockchain technology. Our first product will be a digital wallet - Novi - for the Diem network, and it will be available in Messenger, WhatsApp, and as a standalone app. At Novi, you will be working with a talented and dedicated group of people who are passionate about changing the world. We are looking for a strong people leader to join the Novi Business Planning team, someone who has a deep understanding of workforce, real-time management and business continuity planning, a leader who continually drives to optimize the customer and teammate experience through Business Planning process enhancements. The successful candidate will be passionate about building and developing teams, leveraging tools to optimize and scale realtime management processes, a cultural leader, and systems thinker who can lead a team to effectively break down problems and deliver timely solutions.
Workforce Management Team Lead Responsibilities
  • You will manage a high-performing workforce planning team covering a variety of real-time workflows within the Novi Operations function.
  • You are people focused and will build a high performing team which includes hiring, mentoring and developing a group of workforce real-time specialists
  • You are key to shaping the vision of the team by ensuring the team operates in a frictionless environment and enabling them to identify trends and opportunities that drive operational improvements.
  • You will act as the point of contact for your team, establishing team goals and be supportive in removing roadblocks to improve service levels, and schedule effectiveness
  • You are innovative and will look to identify where and how tooling solutions will aid with streamlining and scaling the real-time management process.
  • You are a strong communicator with experience in reaching resolutions with both technical and non technical issues, ensuring that any impact is communicated cross functionally and actions are taken in a timely manner.
  • You will build and maintain healthy relationships with key partners, acting as the link between operations, partners and stakeholders, identifying opportunities that will improve both the customer and teammate experience.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years experience in a workforce planning team
  • 2+ years experience in a leadership role with strong people management experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze large amounts of data in order to report critical information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in ​Messaging/Chat/Back Office environment planning
  • Experience in creating and executing business continuity plans
  • Experience in the payments/Fin-tech industry
