We are looking for an experienced Customer Education Manager to join the Workplace Customer Marketing team as the primary instructional designer for the Workplace Academy and as a marketing specialist for customer campaigns. The Customer Marketing team is a highly cross-functional & strategic team housed within the Meta Marketing organization. We partner very closely with Product, Engineering, PMM, and Partnerships. Our mission is to deepen product adoption and customer engagement across the full customer lifecycle resulting in customers who not only love our product but show that in renewals year over year. Successful candidates will have exceptional training skills, a bias toward action, and exceptional partnering and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated that they are structured and creative problem solvers and that they are able to thrive in a fast-paced and at times ambiguous environment.
Customer Education Manager Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Support, Marketing and Product to create and update engaging multi-product training content for customers and prospects
  • Develop multi-format training, including e-learning (SCORM-based) classes, tutorial videos, and live, virtual sessions
  • Take a lead role in the development of large-scale, cross-functional customer adoption campaigns: determining scope, content strategy, and marketing strategy
  • Completely own Go-to-Market strategy for Customer Education, working with product and product marketing to determine size and scope of support for new releases and updates
  • Mentor new instructional designers and own the instructional design guidelines and process for all formal training content
  • Improve adoption of, and satisfaction with, our Academies while owning daily logistics for them
  • Responsible for evangelizing the Academy and its content internally to colleagues and externally to partners, prospects and customers
Minimum Qualifications
  • Familiarity with LMS administration, ideally the Exceed platform
  • 7+ years of experience in customer education or sales enablement roles
  • Direct experience in establishing instructional design guidelines for others and the willingness to rapidly develop high quality training content in a variety of formats, including SCORM-based e-learning, video, and live, virtual training
  • Direct experience with customer marketing campaigns, including content strategy and multi-channel messaging
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with customer community management
  • Experience enabling large, international audiences for an Enterprise SaaS product
  • Experience with live, virtual training
