We are looking for a Manager to join our Safety Ops team. This role will work directly with product, policy, legal, and operations partners to further our mission of making WhatsApp safe.
Trust & Safety Manager, WhatsApp Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team by establishing team goals and working with direct reports on strategies for executing at scale, measuring progress and sharing results
  • Understand top abuse concerns and other quality or customer insight data, and support your team in making recommendations to improve our product, policies, and procedures to keep the platform safe
  • Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, operational workflow improvements, and improving the user experience
  • The role will require tight coordination with global cross-functional teams including Data Science, Product, Engineering and others to prioritize, problem solve, and develop solutions related to safety
  • Be a thought leader for data-informed initiatives and guide the team’s direction overall
Minimum Qualifications
  • Interest for developing people, and building high performing teams
  • 6+ years of experience in an operations, safety, risk/fraud or related environment
  • 3+ years of work experience in people management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience assessing, analyzing and resolving issues, and distill into communication
  • Analytical skills, with experience solving problems using data and providing practical business insights
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • 1+ years experience using WhatsApp
  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, visualization tools, or programming languages such as Python or Java
