Meta is looking to hire a Director, Reality Labs Productivity Partnerships who will lead our partnerships efforts in transforming how people work. In this role, you will help build the ecosystem of partners and devices that increase productivity for workers and business, both large and small. This is a highly cross-functional role that will partner with Product and Engineering teams to help develop the partnership and ecosystem strategy to build and cultivate a thriving productivity ecosystem. This role is a unique opportunity to be an important influencer to our strategy to accelerate the growth of the enterprise and productivity ecosystem in the metaverse. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in modern productivity and enterprise, and is keen to take a proactive and strategic approach to business development and partner management. Passionate about transforming how people work through immersive technologies is an absolute must. He/she must have experience effectively collaborating across a diverse organization of engineering, product and business entities to drive results. Finally, he/she must operate with a leadership mindset that is always looking for mutual success between Meta and our partners.
Director, Reality Labs Productivity Partnerships (Work and Home) Responsibilities
  • Build and land strategic partnerships that drive the adoption and engagement for Meta’s immersive software and hardware partners by workers and companies
  • Lead and grow a team of business development and partnerships professionals
  • Define, negotiate and close complex distribution and application licensing deals, with productivity companies to deliver applications and immersive experiences for Reality Labs devices and services (including VR, AR, Portal and Horizon)
  • Partner cross-functionally with Content, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Engineering and our broader partnerships teams to negotiate deal terms, advocate internally for partners and educate on industry norms
  • Drive long-term partnership growth efforts with a focus on developing new business opportunities, establishing deal frameworks and uncovering ways to optimize existing partnerships
  • Set, track, analyze, communicate and execute against key program performance metrics
  • Gather product and execution feedback from partners and cross-functional teams to refine our product roadmap and developer support
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of work experience, including 8+ years of related experience in a mix of business development or partnerships in the technology industry
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
  • Experience collaborating and leading cross-functionally with experience building consensus among multiple stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment
  • Highly strategic and capable of articulating important considerations in foundational technical and business decisions
  • Experience with a fast-paced, highly ambiguous start-up environment
  • High-level of enthusiasm and innovation with experience adapting easily to change and multitasking
  • Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Experience in enterprise and productivity software
  • Experience working with enterprise and/or productivity 2D apps
  • Experience with leading a partnership from concept to legal agreement and launch
  • Quantitative analytical and communication skills
