The Platform PM for Graphics will focus on product management for advanced graphics capabilities for VR and AR Devices. This includes device rendering pipelines, display software, developer APIs, etc. This is a strategic role, where we strive to enable best-in-class visual experiences on our devices, while making advanced graphics features easy to use for content developers.
Platform Product Manager, Graphics Responsibilities
  • Developing a deep understanding of current graphics and display pipelines and capabilities and drawing a technology platform roadmap that enables experiential evolution both short and long term.
  • Understanding first and third party developer needs, both today and in the future, and being able to plan out and validate experimental technologies that can provide advanced graphics capabilities and push experience boundaries for our next generation of devices.
  • Driving the planning and delivery process for graphics features across multiple platforms, multiple teams, varying customer needs and timelines.
  • Acting is a “subject matter expert PM” for graphics and being the evangelist for the Graphics teams with internal and external customers and partners.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Background in graphics and an understanding of modern 3D content development pipelines
  • Experience working on complex hardware/software systems
  • 8+ years product management or related industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in the following:
  • Experience in product management, product design, or product engineering
  • Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones
  • Displaying leadership, organizational and execution skills
  • Experience gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on projects involving VR/AR graphics and content development.

$197,000/year to $270,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and final location. Also, this range represents base salary only and does not include the company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits , if applicable.
