Business Integrity's mission is to ensure safe and trusted connections between people, businesses, and Meta. Our team works together to anticipate and predict potential threats to our platform, design and build tools to protect against these threats, and then implement and enforce these systems at scale. We leverage data analysis, machine learning and a robust infrastructure to review the quality of promoted content on our platform. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and data science, to ensure high quality and safe experiences for both people and businesses across the Facebook family of apps. The BI Actor Integrity Ops team’s mission is to prevent harm to users by designing and building effective, efficient, and fair solutions that enforce harmful business models and assets on our platform. This person will lead a team of Operations analysts in a fast-scaling area and represent Business Integrity (BI) Ops across cross-functional teams discussions on policies, translate strategies into enforceable policies, scale enforcement of our advertising integrity policies, and partner well with a variety of internal stakeholders. Business Integrity Manager Responsibilities
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development to a team of analysts across a range of experience and skills
  • Shape strategy and operations of our Global Actor Integrity Ops team, identify and assess risks and opportunities, develop review workflows to minimize and manage risk, to ensure trust and safety on our platforms
  • Develop and drive operations to enable and maintain quality in the ecosystem, across multiple teams, ensuring timely and thoughtful responses, and scalable processes
  • Develop, in partnership with multiple functions in multiple geographies, principles for the scope, design and building of Actor enforcement systems to increase costs of bad actors to produce harm on our platforms
  • Use insights gleaned from investigations and other inputs to proactively mitigate risk to advertisers and users and to inform and improve operations and execution
  • Coordinate with global cross-functional teams including Data Science, Product, Engineering, Legal/Policy, Sales, and Community Operations to prioritize, problem solve, and develop solutions that enable safe & fair connections between businesses and the Facebook community
  • Communicate effectively regarding progress against top line metrics
  • Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results
Minimum Qualifications
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving experience
  • Experience managing with ambiguity and principles in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated experience in follow-through on execution and procure necessary resources to remove roadblocks for the team
  • Experience resolving and communicating about issues with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Analytically driven with the experience understanding nuances and patterns within large data sets Experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience with a combination of strategic and operational roles within policy and/or international or related experience
  • 2+ years experience of people management
