Meta’s Privacy & Data Practices Team is looking for an experienced Privacy Training Manager to join the team to help develop our Privacy training programs, and build world class privacy learning experiences to equip our growing workforce to advance our privacy mission. The future of work at Meta will be more flexible and distributed, as people work across offices and remote roles. Privacy Learning at Meta should reflect and enable this new way of work. This role will sit in the Learning Program pillar on the Privacy Content Planning team which develops and executes strategy for learning/training, content management, and communication for the Privacy & Data Practices organization and everyone at Meta in order to build capacity of teams and create shared understanding of the importance and work of Privacy at Meta. This role is critical to our success as we invest in our training solutions to empower our workforce with the privacy information, skills, and tactics they need in their work.
Privacy Training Manager Responsibilities
  • Partner with Privacy experts, and functional and cross functional partners to understand the learning needs of key audiences globally.
  • Influence and advise stakeholders, translating learning needs and subject matter expertise into effective and engaging learning solutions that drive behavior change and business impact.
  • Engage with production partners, and when necessary build independently.
  • Oversee the design of innovative blended learning experiences, ensuring they are scalable and inclusive.
  • Execute (including facilitation as needed) and manage the delivery of learning offerings for audiences.
  • Build upon current programs and products to ensure our learners continually receive the highest impact learning experiences.
  • Establish and manage relationships with our external network of vendors to provide the implementation of high priority learning projects – from ideation through design, delivery, measurement and ongoing maintenance.
  • Play an active role by contributing to the growth and scale of the Privacy Learning Program with innovative designs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years experience working in Learning & Development and/or instructional design
  • Demonstrated experience working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience conveying complex concepts concisely and clearly at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience working with large scale cross-functional teams across multiple departments and locations
  • Effective communicator across digital and in-person platforms
  • Project management skills and a proven track record of managing and delivering against timelines
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and learning principles
  • Experience using standard publishing tools (Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Suite, HTML 5)
  • Knowledge or a variety of instructional media including instructor-led, eLearning, and virtual instructor-led training
  • High attention to detail and experience providing specific and actionable feedback
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field
  • Experience scaling global learning and training programs
  • Demonstrated mastery of learning measurement, surveys, and data analytics
  • Experience working with learning platforms such as Cornerstone OnDemand LMS, EdCast LXP, Xyleme LCMS, and Zoom
  • Experience working in learning in the technology industry
  • Experience with Privacy, Security, Risk or Compliance learning projects
