People Specialist Lead, Payroll
We are hiring for a People/HR Operations Manager, Payroll to join our Global People Services team. In this role, you will champion payroll alignment across all regions for accurate and timely payroll inputs, processing requirements from People Operations. Employee experience is our key priority, we continue to find ways to improve payroll queries management processes. This role collaborates intensively with internal stakeholders on payroll transformation initiatives, in alignment to global payroll strategies. This position requires strong HR operations knowledge, operational controls and due diligence, and effectively managing key performance metrics. You are required to proactively manage internal and external stakeholders. You need to have strong analytical skills, people and vendor management experience, with a strong desire to drive improvements and continuously simplify processes. As a self-starter with the ability to collaborate and work independently in our fast-paced global team environment, this is an exciting role for an experienced HR professional to grow in the company.
People Specialist Lead, Payroll Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team responsible for People Operations Payroll inputs across all our regions globally, managing day-to-day operations and business reviews of both the Facebook team and our vendor teams executing payroll services
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to create and deliver on operational strategy for payroll transformation
  • Drive global process optimization and standardization to scale the operations, while balancing the business need for flexibility
  • Establish ongoing business reporting requirements to drive data-based decision making, measuring success of payroll operations and holding the team and partners accountable for delivering on KPIs
  • Deliver results on key performance areas for payroll metrics and issue management process
  • Work effectively as change agent and drive continuous process improvement
  • Own, drive and partner on specific projects
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in HR and/or operations in an international environment ideally with some in a payroll environment
  • 5+ years of People Management experience including building, leading, and evolving performing teams
  • 5+ years in HR operations across countries/regions, a high degree of technical knowledge in these areas required and ideally with specific experience in payroll
  • Strategic thought leadership, stakeholder management, change management and ability to collaborate across the organization
  • Ability to effectively influence, communicate and present at all levels of the organization
  • Ability in prioritizing and making tough choices among multiple priorities and with influencing partners to set priorities
  • Project management skills, process improvement, data skills and leading cross-functional teams to make an impact and deliver work on time
  • Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Managing an Operational Shared Service, multi-region Payroll Input team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in HR Operations or a shared service environment preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working with HR systems
  • Payroll experience and working knowledge of employee records, benefits and payroll workstreams
