Meta is driving employee productivity into the Metaverse. We are leading the industry with virtual reality hardware in Quest2, with plans to increase employee enablement and connectedness using evolving technologies in a variety of spaces including XR (Extended Reality encompassing Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality). Within the Collaboration Technology division of the Enterprise Engineering (EE) Department, the Productivity Accelerator team is operationalizing innovative tech and XR tech in the enterprise for Meta workers. We are seeking an experienced, insightful Solutions Deployment Program Manager to fill a new role on the team, providing oversight of hardware and software solution deployments to the enterprise. The goal is to operationalize new technology solutions within EE such that they can be supported at scale. This role is pivotal to ensuring that Meta sets the processes and standards for how XR (roughly 80%) and other emerging tech (estimated 20%) is deployed for productivity in the enterprise.
Solutions Delivery Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage a program that serves to bring new productivity solutions to the enterprise through strong program management principles and hands-on leadership.
  • Work with cross-functional partners responsible for compliance, security, logistics, support, and infrastructure to identify what is needed to successfully deploy hardware and software solutions at scale.
  • Oversee the execution of deployment projects from initiation to completion ensuring that solutions are fully handed off and accepted by EE teams and supported.
  • Identify issues, risks, blocks to operationalizing tech solutions and resolve with cross-functional partners.
  • Develop processes and standards by which solutions are deemed ready for hand-off to the operationalization team and then from the operationalization team to Enterprise Engineering teams.
  • Promote thought leadership for new ideas and new ways of deploying solutions by incorporating lessons learned and ensuring best practices. Determine levers that would enable the teams to move faster on new tech deployments when needed.
  • Ensure change-management practices are in place and deployments are designed with the user experience in mind. Change management may be driven from within the team and/or working with change management leads or change champions that emerge as program expands.
  • Develop detailed analysis, plans, milestones, deliverables and overall status updates related to program management.
  • Help establish program goals, what to measure, and how to measurement in order to accurate assess the success of the program. Present metrics and program results to leadership as needed.
  • Help determine resource requirements and budget needs for the program especially as the program grows and evolves. Oversee work of contingent workforce supporting the program as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience leading large, complex programs and projects, including hands-on project management of multiple concurrent projects.
  • 5+ years experience deploying hardware and software into a large corporate enterprise.
  • Demonstrated understanding of infrastructure, compliance, security complexities faced when introducing new HW/SW in the enterprise and/or for enterprise use.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience implementing systems that provide user experiences (are user-facing).
  • Communication and interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Quest2, and other Virtual Reality headsets.
