You will be joining the Center of Excellence (COE) team that supports FP&A for all of Meta. The COE's Mission is to leverage scalable solutions to enable Meta FP&A to effectively centralize, standardize and optimize deliverables and processes to facilitate Meta's continued success. You will be responsible for most of the daily FP&A operations and provide direct support to all finance managers for a total team success. You need to have basic knowledge in finance and accounting operations. You need to be able to work collaboratively with all Finance and Business Planning (FBP) teams. You will be at the forefront of managing the day-to-day operations to help Finance scale to support the growing business for all of Meta. You will play a critical role in closing the books, and in headcount and OPEX management for Meta businesses. You will gain invaluable experience in a position which offers significant opportunity to build and scale FP&A processes and learn operational discipline.
FP&A Center of Excellence Lead Responsibilities
  • Own the monthly/quarterly close process. Prepare and submit accruals and reclass journal entries, perform actuals reconciliation with budget, own the variance analysis and review P&L daily during close periods to ensure financial data accuracy.
  • Conduct headcount, operating expense, and capital expenditure reporting. Reconcile between reports and system outputs, ensuring 100% accuracy across all deliverables. Meet all internal financial reporting requirements.
  • Act as the primary finance reviewer for all PO and Contractor requests. Ensure all coding is accurate and funding within budget. Need to work closely with Procurement to ensure smooth procure-to-pay processes. Need to work closely with Business Partners to ensure correct coding and within budget.
  • Drive process improvement projects across FBP teams to streamline, automate existing FP&A processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Accounting, Enterprise Engineering, Source-to-Pay, and HR.
  • Lead team of 2+ FP&A COE analysts to achieve total team success.
  • Meet regularly with FBP Finance Managers to understand work intake and to review work output. Primary POC to support Business Partner questions related to FinOps (POs, T&E, policy, etc.).
  • Assist or own quarterly forecast cycles and annual budget planning. Set up templates and be responsible for Hyperion data loads.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field
  • 6+ years accounting or financial experience
  • Experience learning new systems/tools and proactively look for opportunities to create operational efficiencies with existing processes
  • Detail-oriented and experience working closely with Accounting teams to ensure controls during close
  • Experience working and problem solving independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on time
  • Experience with building financial models in Excel to automate reporting
  • Experience with Financial Tools/Systems, Excel/Google Sheets, PPT/Google Slides
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Oracle Financials and Hyperion Planning and proficiency in SQL and Tableau
  • CPA or MBA
  • Experience managing and training finance analysts
  • Experience building working relationships with Finance leadership/managers from remote location
  • Experience leading large scale cross-functional projects
