Business Integrity's mission is to ensure safe and trusted connections between people, businesses, and Meta. Our team works together to anticipate and predict potential threats to our platform, design and build tools to protect against these threats, and then implement and enforce these systems at scale. We also build and support all experiences originating from these integrity actions. We leverage data analysis, machine learning and a robust infrastructure to review, inform and uphold the quality of promoted content on our platform. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and data science, to ensure high quality and safe experiences for both people and businesses across the Meta family of apps. Successful candidates for this team are adaptable, creative, have a bias toward action, aren't afraid of being wrong, and can successfully work across various teams & countries.
Business Integrity Associate, Technical Analyst Responsibilities
  • Develop compelling analyses to execute data-informed initiatives that helps improve our support channels, improve the quality of our ad products and drive great service
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to see beyond the numbers and pull insights to help identify trends & opportunities to drive growth of our product & business
  • Build/maintain data infrastructure (reporting layer data pipelines, reports, dashboards, alerts) to monitor the performance of our operations and drive business understanding
  • Communicate results of analyses to non-technical stakeholders who are the users of systems involving metrics, pipelines, and dashboards
  • Partner with Operations, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product and Engineering teams to solve problems at scale
  • Support the team in defining clear business problems and prioritizing solutions, developing success metrics to measure project performance and coordinating alignment with team mission and goals
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math/Finance, Physics, Economics, Statistics or other technical discipline with professional experience in a quantitative field
  • 4+ years of work experience in a role involving strategic/analytic initiates, such as operations, consulting experience, data analysis or technical systems)
  • 2+ years of analytic project management experience
  • Experience with statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, probability, experimentation logic and biases, time series analysis)
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL and at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl etc.)
  • Experience with reporting systems and data pipeline architecture and leveraging data to make decisions and solve problems
  • Experience resolving, communicating, and presenting issues & insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience problem solving in a professional setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working and communicating with global teams
  • Experience with statistical analysis, and a statistical package such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, or SAS
  • Development experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl)
  • Advanced technical degree
