Product Quality Engineer, Meta Reality Labs Responsibilities
  • Assess project risks and proactively drive mitigation plans.
  • Develop and continuously improve Meta’s Quality Management system.
  • Partner with Engineering to define product acceptance plans based on Product Requirements Document (PRD) and release Product Quality Plans (PQP) to the factory.
  • Provide risk assessment and advocate for the customers in project cross functional team meetings.
  • Analyze factory and field quality data to enable key products and process decisions.
  • Define and own Quality KPIs and metrics.
  • Own overall Product Quality in system FATP factory and field.
  • Drive communication and actions on quality by conducting periodic quality reviews and by aligning and engaging with cross-functional teams.
  • 25% International Travel.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include 24 months in each of the following:
  • Quality management in the consumer electronics space, including New Product Introduction
  • Driving communication and actions on quality by conducting periodic quality reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Serving as an overall product quality owner in system FATP factory and field
  • Defining and owning Quality KPIs and metrics
  • Analyzing factory and field quality data to enable key products and process decisions
  • Providing product quality risk assessments
  • Collaborating with Engineering to define product acceptance plans based on Product Requirements Document (PRD) and release Product Quality Plans (PQP) to the factory
  • Assessing project risks and proactively driving mitigation plans
  • Developing and continuously improving Quality Management systems
  • Lean Six Sigma Methodology
