Conversation Designer Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and iterate on high-quality end-to-end designs for speech and conversational user interfaces and content
  • Create natural dialog flows, wireframes and templates that clearly convey a conversation architecture to Facebook’s engineering teams
  • Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers and content strategists in order to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
  • Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communications problems
  • Develop the overall layout and production design of magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications
  • Create and prototype pre-visualizations in Spanish that help communicate our strategy , processes and methodology with the international team
  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions for the Spanish user experiences with the rest of the product and executive teams
Minimum Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Marketing, Interaction Design, or related field. Position also requires completion of a university-level course/research project/internship/thesis, or 6 months of experience in the following:
  • Applying design principles to create product workflows, proof of concepts, and frameworks
  • Determining size and arrangement of illustrative design mockups and selecting the style and type of design, including the interfaces between users and technology
  • Digital ASICs design flows
  • Conducting research into current design trends and user-experience concepts in order to develop design modifications and revisions that better enhance the user experience
  • Designing for groups of people (international audiences, multi-language localization, accessibility for people with disabilities, etc.)
