Product Growth Analyst Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for growth, to remove barriers for product adoption, retention, engagement, and/or monetization
  • Partner with our growth focused engineering teams to execute on projects based on what's identified to accelerate the growth and adoption of Meta products in all the markets we serve
  • Understand funnels, ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends in the adoption of our products to identity opportunities for step-changes and angle changes in growth
  • Define, analyze, and communicate metrics that inform the success of products and allow us to monitor the heath of product adoption in the markets we serve
  • Communicate the state of business, experiment results, opportunities, etc. to product teams
  • Influence and inform product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations
  • Lead the product understanding process using data to identify opportunities to remove friction and accelerate growth and market adoption of our products
  • Drive long-term growth of Meta products through a combination of data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation to optimize product experiences
  • Drive consensus and prioritize the road-map of the growth-focused engineering team to drive a ruthless focus on the most impactful ideas
  • Partner with product designers, who are also members of our growth-focused product & engineering teams, to ensure that designs incorporate known best practices, remove friction, and will be effective at increasing product adoption in the market
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science to develop and implement experiments to test hypothesis for which changes will drive product adoption and growth
  • Analyze the results of experiments to determine what should launch or not
  • Learn from and iterate on those experiments by identifying additional opportunities to drive growth
  • Establish shared vision across the company for growth product optimizations by building consensus on priorities leading to major product improvements
  • Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action
  • Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources
  • Analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related product, market, or share trends
  • Understand the competitive landscape facing Meta products and relative position in the market, to inform the product growth strategy and design
  • Lead direct response communication efforts with users & potential users of Meta products
  • choosing the best targeting, channel, and message to drive product adoption
  • Take product optimizations best practices that are known to be effective and implement them in other places
  • Optimize funnels to reduce friction and drive the best possible experience for users who are going through any product flows necessary to become users of our products and services
  • Lead product adoption efforts partnered with product growth teams, to effectively promote high retention experiences
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted (remote work benefit)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Communication, Culture, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or in an analytics-related occupation. Experience must include 1 year of experience in the following:
  • Data querying language: SQL
  • Using quantitative analysis to draw actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Collaborating and communicating across a variety of technical and non-technical functions to drive towards common product goals
  • A/B Testing and Statistics involving problem frame-works, developing hypotheses, designing and executing A/B testing for product and feature roll out, analyzing test results and providing business recommendations
  • Supporting direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products, including target audience segmentation, incentive structure design, budget management, defining success metric, ad-hoc campaign optimization, and post-campaign analysis
  • Working with large data sets including database queries, data visualization tools, and in cloud-based environments to inform and influence decision making
  • Evaluating account performance and value to inform long-term investment decisions and performing sensitivity analysis to mitigate risk
  • Working with Data Scientists to build segmentation model for audience targeting
  • Designing data models to optimize marketing campaign ROI
