As a Program Manager on the Communications & Public Affairs - Strategy & Program Management team, you will have the unique opportunity to be in the front seat of some of Meta Communications most strategic initiatives. These initiatives will include delivering against our twin pillar focus areas for the year, Public Affairs and Product & Innovation. To thrive in this role, you need an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to partner directly with Communications Leads and corresponding leadership-level cross-functionals to develop and deliver on our communications and business goals. As an ideal candidate, you have the ability to break down complex problems and spot and overcome gaps or obstacles. You are a strong team player, who has demonstrated an ability to build relationships, drive alignment and cooperation with stakeholders, and support others to achieve shared goals. You will be responsible for creating, managing, executing against, and measuring the outcomes against the pillars strategy.
Program Manager, Communications & Public Affairs Responsibilities
  • Work across Meta - policy, legal, marketing, research, product, and engineering organizations to create, manage, execute, and measure against your strategy.
  • Pilot, scale, and manage an infrastructure to connect and align the important communications & public affairs strategy that teams are supporting across regions globally.
  • Think outside the box to develop and scale working models, processes, and systems to facilitate collaboration that is both useful and efficient.
  • Facilitate strategy and roadmap development, and help track progress and measure performance to help ensure we are successful in achieving our goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Policy, Communications, International Studies, or related disciple.
  • 12+ years of experience in strategy, and/or project/program management.
  • Experience operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, adaptable, and delivering impactful results in a highly organized manner.
  • At ease working with and presenting to senior leadership. Experience being firm with requests and ensuring follow through.
  • A curiosity surrounding our communications & public affairs ecosystem and experience applying this awareness to connect the dots with the work we do globally.
  • A demonstrated drive and experience to continuously improve - both yourself and your teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating closely with teams outside of the U.S.
  • Experience working on communication and/or public affairs matters.
  • Experience working on or closely with communications, research, legal, policy, product, and marketing teams. Experience working on campaign-style efforts.
  • Experience working in complex, highly pressurized, fast paced environments.
