As an International Product Growth Manager for Nigeria, you will ensure that Meta is locally relevant and successful in the market. With your deep understanding of the local product landscape and cultural context, you will identify product gaps, uncover growth opportunities, and drive the execution of growth initiatives for Nigeria. International Product Growth Manager, Nigeria Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Meta family of apps is well adapted to be successful in Nigeria
  • Provide local insights, identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats relevant for Meta’s success in Nigeria
  • Explore and identify strategic growth opportunities in Nigeria leveraging internal and external resources as well as in-country activities
  • Drive solutions that address identified market-specific opportunities
  • Influence and partner with product teams to execute on solutions
  • Partner with analytics teams to identify high-impact opportunities, validate key findings, and measure impact of execution
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in product management or a related field
  • Experience in the understanding of the Nigerian market, including its unique challenges and opportunities
  • Native fluency in one or more indigenous Nigerian languages as this role requires the understanding of local product landscape and cultural context to develop solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration experiences, with the ability to work effectively with and influence cross-functional teams such as engineering, product management, and analytics across different countries and cultures, in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environments
  • Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, with experience in interpreting data to inform decision-making
  • Experience with building products tailored to Nigeria
  • Experience working in startups or entrepreneurial ventures
  • Experience working in a global environment across multiple time zones
