Meta Global Security is responsible for the safety and security of all Meta’s people, assets, and reputation. As a Global Security Site Manager (Hyderabad & Bangalore), you will oversee the local guard force, monitor, and respond to incidents, manage, and coordinate special events, and ensure a safe working environment for employees in both Hyderabad and Bangalore Region. Given the scope of business in both the Sites in the Region, this role will include supporting partners with complex and diverse risk tolerance. You will be expected to independently lead and manage strategic relationships – both internal and external – with support from your regional leadership team. Experience working with and leading law enforcement teams and programs is a plus. The GSSM is a physical security professional and builds and maintains strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring consistency of policy, standards, and guidance together with effective and efficient security services. Experience in working with and leading law enforcement teams and programs is a plus. This position will be based out of Hyderabad Meta Office.
Global Security Site Manager (Hyderabad & Bangalore), Responsibilities
  • • Coordinate both routine and strategic security programs as determined by Regional Security leadership
  • • Support the review and development of Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Response Plans
  • • Oversee all security vendors against Meta issued Key Performance Indicators and expectations
  • • Day-to-day management of the GSS team including 24/7 security services for routine operations and internal and external events.
  • • Assist with security and safety awareness training programs and deliver to local Meta employees in partnership with Site Leadership
  • • Collaborate with key partners to build innovative and creative security strategies
  • • Ensure compliance with Global Standards and Programs
  • • Managing incidents ensuring swift resolution, minimal disruption and identifying lessons to continually improve responses.
  • • Lead operational stages of high profile on-site and off-site events, including liaising with other security teams and industry talent
Minimum Qualifications
  • • Bachelor's degree
  • • 10+ years’ experience in security management, law enforcement, or a combination of physical security disciplines
  • • Knowledge in the areas of emergency/disaster management, physical security, risk management and business resiliency.
  • • Confidence to make decisions on short notice with little to no oversight • Experience with CCTV and access control systems, such as Genetec and CCURE
  • • Experience in securing intellectual property and confidential office locations
  • • Proven track record in managing security operations and security personnel and delivering, customer-oriented security programs
  • • Communication and organizational leadership
  • • Knowledge of Physical Security design specifications and standards
  • • Strong customer service and communication skills, able to write clearly and succinctly in technical and non-technical formats.
Preferred Qualifications
  • • 5+ years law enforcement experience
  • • Certifications in the domain pf Physical Security such as CPP, PSP, CSP
  • • Experience in managing and delivering workplace violence programs in a corporate environment • Knowledge of Physical Security design specifications and standards
  • • Strong track record of thinking strategically and executing tactically, with understanding/working knowledge of both the locations - Hyderabad & Bangalore.
  • Experience in infusing innovation into strategic plans
  • • Experience in responding to COVID-19 and/or return to office efforts
