Meta is seeking a London Site Lead to join our leadership team in supporting our growing campus in London. As a Site Lead you’ll work to define and execute our site culture strategy for our 6,000+ London based employees. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both strategically and tactically, ready to support our strong and inclusive internal community.
London Site Lead Responsibilities
  • Develops & leads multi-year, long term plan for all goal-setting and tracking. Owns goal-setting and tracking, defining agendas and action items for London Tech Site Leadership.
  • Responsible for strategic point of view on how local site advocates for employee base with all of our cross functional teams such as Comms, Policy, Facilities, Security, Culinary and IT.
  • Provides strategic long-term (18-24 months) roadmap for pillar work.
  • Owns & manages the strategy, creation and execution of internal communications programming that supports site community and culture in multiple locations (ex: Site All Hands, "Round Up", People of, Diversity Speaker Series, weekly newsletter) with support from coordinator.
  • Owns and develops site-wide strategy for all our internal communities, working closely with other members of the Site Leadership team, and leveraging the support of internal site builders.
  • Owns, develops and leads a multi-year, long term plan, defining site goals and driving the agenda for the London site leadership.
  • Owns & manages the strategy (process/cadence) of executive visits to Site for multiple locations
  • delegates preparation of briefing document, coordination of logistics such as meeting spaces, hosting site-facing Q&A, and arranging site-specific meetings or activities to Site Coordinator. As a leader in the role, expected to partner with executive team on local press, speaking engagements, etc
  • Owns & manages the planning and execution of internal and/or external local office branding events showcasing teams, work, culture, and/or educational opportunities in partnership with XFN such as Recruiting, Local Organizational Leadership, Communications. Develops a long term strategy for brand impact, less about individual events but longer term campaigns that have broader impact.
  • Key stakeholder in our strategic internal and external programming on behalf of London site leadership, including business case development, approval process and implementation i.e. Diversity & Inclusion, Social Good, community engagement, sustainability.
  • Manages and scales cultural programming strategy to reinforce social connection at the site level. This is done across multiple offices, considering localized nuances.
  • In partnership with internal comms, develops & manages the strategy, creation and execution of internal communications programming that supports site community and culture in multiple locations (ex: Site All Hands, "Round Up", People of, Diversity Speaker Series) with support from coordinator.
  • Responsible for strategic planning for Local Office Welcome across a larger site.
  • Partner closely with HR Site Leads, People Operations and our benefits team to understand and adapt programming to the needs of our employees
  • Surface key insights through cross functional engagement, including site employee engagement survey analysis, annual culture survey, HR analytics & micro survey.
  • Proactively manage the site budget
Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience of people management and track record of managing career growth of people working in office/event lead roles.
  • Manages Event Lead and Site Coordinators responsible for planning and execution of cultural programming strategy
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and strategic problem solving
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated experience of fostering collaborative partnerships
