As part of Meta’s Infrastructure organization, the Product Lifecycle Management Solutions Manager is an established subject matter expert who will lead the strategy, architecture and execution of PLM system and process transformation programs that will ensure the scalability of Meta’s global data center fleet over the next 5+ years.
Product Lifecycle Management Solutions Manager Responsibilities
  • Partner closely across Meta’s Infrastructure organization including supply chain, IT, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, Quality, and logistics teams spanning product areas including Compute, Storage, Network and Data Center facilities.
  • Engage with business stakeholders including operations leaders and functional SMEs to understand their PLM-related pain points, initiatives, strategic objectives and transformation needs to enable their continued operational excellence and rapid growth.
  • Partner with Program Management to develop, monitor and evolve transformation and strategic roadmaps that effectively balance stakeholder priorities with enabling future state architectures.
  • Partner with IT, third party system integrator, and other groups to develop architectures and drive implementation of end-to-end PLM solutions that integrate across Meta’s disparate supply chain tooling and processes.
  • Lead the implementation of PLM strategic and transformation programs and ensure quality, on-time delivery against defined budget, timeline, goals and metrics. This includes the gathering of business requirements, development of process flows and solution design, training and change management.
  • Play a critical role in helping to set the direction and goals for the PLM team by contributing subject matter expertise and thought leadership
  • work closely with team manager to develop PLM functional and operations management strategies and roadmaps.
  • Analyze a large set of product data to come up with success metrics for new programs. Lead Product Data Model design decisions with supply chain partners. Work with a data analytics team on new reports and dashboards related to product data.
  • Act as a key change agent for team health and productivity by proactively and independently identifying issues slowing down the team and driving process improvements across PLM and the broader supply chain to address them

Minimum Qualifications
  • 13+ years of relevant Supply Chain business process experience with subject matter expertise in PLM solutions and NPI and Mass Production product structure management in a fast-paced, rapidly changing high tech environment.
  • Proven program management expertise with a track record of successfully authoring clear plans to move something from a problem statement to execution, developing architectures and roadmaps, and shipping highly complex, cross functional PLM transformation solutions, and Master Data Management solutions including IT tools, operating processes, and change management.
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities including influencing solution design outcomes across teams in cross-functional settings and influencing external stakeholders and policies.
  • Experience aligning expectations on multiple programs through consensus to achieve goals.
  • Experience pushing back when appropriate on decisions or programs with supporting data, unafraid to have hard conversations.
  • Demonstrated experience anticipating potential conflict within the stakeholder group and proactively resolve by building consensus between teams.
  • Proven experience identifying, influencing and building business cases and metrics for projects and teams based on data, analysis and fact-based rationale.
  • Proactive and self-driven with a focus on delivering business impact and rapidly driving change in a collaborative, timely and service oriented manner.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise solutioning with Oracle Agile and Fusion PD, PDH and IM PLM tools.
  • Educational background in supply chain, engineering, scientific or similar analytical field.
  • Product knowledge of datacenter compute, storage and networking equipment or consumer electrical products.
  • Experience working with global ODMs.
  • Team management experience.
