This is an excellent opportunity help run the operation of a world class incident management programme in Meta Ireland’s Data Protection Legal team. Varied role working with stakeholders across the business, to organise the programme, and to manage and update Meta Ireland's incident response processes and associated documentation. Incident Response Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage the data protection legal incident response processes in the European region, identify and measure critical operations and continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the incident response process and associated documentation.
  • Ensure continuity of operations for the legal team through effective communications between the global legal teams and other relevant teams across the company.
  • Assist with incident response case management, including fact finding and investigations, follow-up and tracking of incident mitigation, ensuring the appropriate documentation of incidents and assisting with regulatory submissions and notifications.
  • Manage the personnel scheduling to ensure that holiday cover & handovers are organised appropriately.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in law, business, management, security, technology or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in a comparable manager role
  • Functional understanding of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to plan strategy, tactics and perform root-cause analysis
  • Ability to work across functions and at all levels of the organisation to collaborate and help influence action
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Awareness of social media challenges and sensitivity to safety or regulatory issues.
  • Work effectively under high pressure, strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with different teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of dealing with issues arising in relation to online privacy or a related field
  • Experience with organising and coordinating an incident response program
