We also bring many of our products to millions of professionals outside Meta by making these available on the Workplace enterprise collaboration platform. On our Meta Enterprise and Infrastructure teams, we build industry leading, highly intuitive products that consistently influence the enterprise software industry by defining new standards for how our customers, internally and externally, relate to their daily work. We are looking for someone that has strong experience building complex transactional systems with high availability, data integrity, and reliability.
Product Designer Responsibilities
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into products useful and valuable for our billion plus users
  • Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant
  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams
  • Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality
  • Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product, from conception to launch
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features/products that encompass an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms
  • 15+ years of interaction design experience to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this innovation will scale. Use appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work
  • 15+ years of visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function
  • 15+ years of strategic product thinking with the experience to develop product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company
  • Experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing for various groups of people (international audiences, multi-language localization, accessibility for people with disabilities, etc.)
