Technical Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Work in a very fast-paced and iterative technical environment with engineering leaders across software, data science, performance engineering, and hardware teams.
  • Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure scaling problems.
  • Create programs to solve these problems by determining goals that align with company initiatives, understand dependencies, define milestones, assess risk, and identify resource requirements.
  • Achieve alignment in ambiguous or contentious areas to drive product decisions.
  • Use a data driven approach to define goals and clear metrics to track progress.
  • Collaborate extensively within TPM and with cross-functional engineering teams to create and execute a structure for successful delivery of programs.
  • Provide hands-on program management during various phases of the program including day-to-day coordination of tasks.
  • Identify process improvements to minimize manual effort by driving build out of automation and workflow tooling engines.
  • Develop a communication strategy for the cross-functional team and stakeholders at different levels of the organization to align, influence, and deliver on goals.
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a program management or engineering-related occupation.
  • Experience must include 36 months of experience in the following:
  • 1. Supporting Hardware or Software Engineering teams
  • 2. Program or product management, and project management tools
  • 3. Managing projects related to co-design of systems or platforms
  • 4. Enterprise systems (CPU, Storage and Memory)
  • 5. Understanding application requirements and translating needs into roadmap and capacity plans
  • 6. Systems engineering experience in systems performance, capacity, scalability, or production systems
  • 7 Building or operating distributed multi-tier software systems, such as ERP Applications, or other consumer serving stack
  • 8. Communication and interpersonal collaboration experience with experience influencing engineers and cross-functional teams
  • 9. Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience
  • 10. Analyzing, problem-solving, and working with large-scale systems.

$215,367/year to $226,600/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
