Meta Connectivity, as an organization, has pivoted this year to focus on “metaverse-ready networks” – an industry-wide push to accelerate the evolution of connectivity to make Meta experiences amazing for everyone on the planet. It is widely recognized that the network is one of the major bottlenecks behind this huge disparity. The Connectivity Analytics team builds products to help network operators prioritize investments around the world. Our Platform team manages the core APIs, Data Infrastructure and Foundational Datasets that power the entire suite of Analytics products. We are in search of the world’s most creative and experienced engineering leaders to join our journey of building world class Analytics and Business Intelligence infrastructure. Software Engineering Manager, Connectivity Analytics Data Foundation Responsibilities
  • Be an effective people manager and leader: provide support for the engineering team, enable individual growth, set clear expectations, hold people accountable, recognize accomplishments and positive impact
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to both your team members and your project peers
  • Help define and drive regular development of an aggressive technical roadmap to meet the needs of the team, and partner teams
  • Operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapting quickly to new information and re-prioritizing as needed
  • Work efficiently with our partner companies to drive change in the connectivity ecosystem
  • Work closely with dedicated recruiting staff to expand the team, including sourcing candidates, interviewing candidates, participating in conferences/events, and on-boarding new employees
Minimum Qualifications
  • Technical manager experience with experience in systems and software
  • 2+ years experience managing a software engineering team with an infrastructure
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management
  • Clear communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience/expertise in building B2B products with strong emphasis on user experiences.
  • Experience/expertise building Analytics and Business Intelligence products.
  • Experience/expertise with Telecom or Mobile market dynamics.
