Privacy Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Ensure Meta cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features.
  • Be responsible for coordinating discussion and coordination among product managers and privacy stakeholders across the company (including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams).
  • Partner with product managers and other privacy stakeholders to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.
  • Track and document new product proposals, stats updates, and key decisions.
  • Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented.
  • Drive relationship building and collaboration within cross- functional teams.
  • Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 24 months of experience in the following:
  • 1. Managing cross functional privacy review program
  • 2. Document privacy risks associated with products and key decisions
  • 3. Communicate privacy decisions to cross-functional team and ensure that those decisions get properly implemented
  • 4. Effectively and proactively communicate privacy review program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • 5. Organizing, coordinating, multi-tasking, and process-improvements for privacy review and privacy operations
  • 6. Support process design and process improvement in a cross-functional environment.

$166,848/year to $174,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
