Meta’s Global Risk Operations (GRO) organisation advocates for and protects every person, community, and business from risk on our platforms, across the world. Within GRO, the Risk Prevention team is responsible for the end-to-end management of operational workflows designed to identify, reduce, and prevent integrity risk for Meta. This requires highly specialized and agile enforcement, based on nuanced policy application inclusive of its new and dynamic changes, situational awareness, and regional and language expertise. We identify macro trends/risks that need to be addressed holistically, managing case-based work that requires real-time discussions working with XFN policy partners to make key decisions on overturning enforcement decisions.
We are a global team, organized regionally with support from our specialized functional teams for Legal & Regulatory, Business and Community, and Programs. As part of our APAC senior management team, core responsibilities include the day-to-day operations management and continuous transparency regarding performance of our East Asia and OCEANIA operations against goals as well as development, advocacy for and execution of strategic initiatives to transform the support experience for our community.

Senior Operations Manager, Risk Prevention, East Asia and Oceania Responsibilities
Manage delivery of internal content review operations against defined KPIs in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment across different staff groups and sites, working closely with internal XFN partners to inform how contractor workforces are used to address risks to the communities and languages we represent
Operations management providing continuous transparency regarding performance of our regional operations against goals as well as development, advocacy for and execution of, strategic initiatives to transform the support experience for our community
Drive continuous improvement and step change innovation, drive goal alignment and execution planning as an advocate for global communities. Build the enforcement infrastructure for every user and every abuse type to enforce on the most critical risks and escalations
Actively engage as a member of the APAC leadership team for cross-cutting strategic, operational and people initiatives, working directly with Policy XFNs on enforcement decisions and workflow processes and working directly with Product XFNs on workflow incubation
Provide strong and visionary leadership to your teams, enhance and develop a strong team culture of trust and commitment to impact in how we support our community, defining north star for world class community support experience
Build a great team through partnering with global leaders, HR, L&D & Recruiting to develop and execute on a holistic people strategy to attract, retain and develop top talent and role model leadership best practices
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience working in, and with, global communities or businesses in the Operations domain: in particular, managing operations in customer service, compliance, risk management, business process outsourcing
Strong and inclusive people management capabilities and stakeholder management including managing leaders and remote teams across multiple, geographically diverse sites
Proven track record of attracting, scaling and developing inclusive teams
Strategic thinker with proven track record of transforming operations through innovation and improvement
Executive presence and a track record of influencing and partnering with global cross-functional leaders as an advocate for Meta community
Working knowledge of East Asia and Oceania is preferred to understand the geo-political, cultural & socio-economic dynamics of the region
