Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with cosmetic inspection and quality control of coating and optical components.
  • Proven track record in working with production and transferring design into high volume manufacturing.
  • Knowledge and experience on optical filter development, atomic layer deposition and hard (dip/spin) coating is a plus.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving tools (8D, DMAIC, etc).
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related technical discipline with 10+ year industry experience.
  • Experience with thin film design and analysis software Essential Macleod, OptLayer and TFCalc.
  • Experience in optical metrology equipment and material characterization techniques like spectrophotometer, phase-shift and white light interferometer, surface profiling, and ellipsometer.
About Meta
Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. When Facebook launched in 2004, it changed the way people connect. Apps like Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp further empowered billions around the world. Now, Meta is moving beyond 2D screens toward immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality to help build the next evolution in social technology. People who choose to build their careers by building with us at Meta help shape a future that will take us beyond what digital connection makes possible today—beyond the constraints of screens, the limits of distance, and even the rules of physics.
