The Marketing Science team is seeking an experienced research & analytics professional to partner with the sales team serving our new age digital advertising agencies to optimize their investments on Meta on behalf of their clients and measure the effectiveness of their marketing investment both on and off Meta. This person will develop and execute appropriate internal and external engagement strategies focused on marketing science i.e. data, analytics and measurement. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data, measurement, marketing analytics, research and statistics and a passion for generating data-based insights. The candidate should have strong communication and collaboration skills and substantial direct client / stakeholder management experience. This role will challenge the candidate to influence the ad effectiveness measurement and digital marketing analytics strategy of Meta’s digital advertising partners and craft the GTM strategy for the sales team servicing them. They are also required to work with other Marketing Science and Cross Functional Teams regionally and globally on specific projects, task forces as the need or opportunity arises
Marketing Science Partner GBG Scaled Agency, APAC Responsibilities
  • Educate and influence digital advertising agencies in close collaboration with the sales teams to build and adopt better measurement and marketing analytics practices to optimize their use of Meta platforms for their clients
  • Design robust measurement tests to showcase the power of good measurement using first-party or third party or a combination of tools and solutions
  • Use a variety of methods such as tasks, office hours, consultation sessions, and outbound communications to support the day to day needs of the sales organization
  • Train and equip sales teams and their advertising agencies on the most updated measurement and analytics tools and data based insights.
  • Build automation tools and dashboards to quantify opportunity, discover insights and track impact
  • Integrate measurement and marketing analytics practices into sales GTM strategy and their agency engagement model
  • Drive wide scale adoption of Marketing Science discovered insights and recommendations identified through data analysis, measurement and meta-analysis through activation programs co-designed with sales and other cross functional teams
  • Help Meta advertising agencies to upskill their team and update their offerings to their clients on measurement and analytics skills and solutions
  • Develop long term strategies to leverage the scale and network of advertising agencies as advocates of Meta’s ad solutions, measurement and data analytics practices
  • Lead and contribute to regional / global projects and task forces formed to accelerate development of new capabilities, learnings or achieving operational efficiencies
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant, media/marketing measurement, research or analytics experience and general love of data and numbers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar
  • Good understanding of online and offline advertising and familiarity with Brand and Direct Response advertising and marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques
  • Experience in developing measurement strategies, data-analysis plans and communicating to non-technical audiences while keeping the larger business goals in mind
  • First-hand experience of working with large datasets to extract, clean, analyze data and translate it to business insights using commonly used programs like SQL/ Python / R and data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Client-facing experience (both internal and external), including ability to drive change through adoption of new products, research methods and modeling techniques
  • Excellent communication and client-interaction skills, ability to communicate technical content to general audience is critical
  • Proven track record of operating independently, problem solving, developing nascent opportunities, objection handling & multiple stakeholder management.
