Privacy Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects for Facebook's cross-functional privacy review process for new software products and features.
  • Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and privacy stakeholders across the company, including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other privacy stakeholders to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.
  • Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions.
  • Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented.
  • Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field and 24 months of experience in the required skills and technologies. Experience must include 24 months involving the following:
  • Cyber and Privacy Risk and Maturity Assessment
  • Cyber Risk and Privacy Findings, and Issue Management Process Design and Implementation
  • Cyber Risk Management Process Improvement, and Risk Metrics Development and Management
  • Developing and driving consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges
  • Design and Implementation of Privacy Management use cases, including GDPR Compliance solutions in GRC tool
  • Conducting end-to-end Risk Assessment of software products and applications
  • Privacy process design and research on emerging technologies, including AI-based devices.
