The Global Scaled Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee life-cycle. Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. Meta's Learning Shared Services team is seeking a Learning Systems Program Manager to drive the governance, enhancements, and overall success of our company-wide learning management solution, Cornerstone OnDemand, as well as emerging adjacent solutions (LXP, LCMS, etc.). The successful candidate will ensure system stability and scalability while delivering on priority Meta system and experience requirements. This role requires significant collaboration with leadership, learning, operations, engineering, and vendor teams to drive alignment on plans, deliver cross-functional projects, and ensure visibility into system and roadmap status.
Learning Systems Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Oversee governance, enhancements, and overall success of priority Meta learning systems, in particular, the Learning Management System (Cornerstone OnDemand)
  • Partner with People/HR, Learning, Operations, and Engineering teams on developing LMS, LCMS, and LXP program objectives, strategy, resourcing, success metrics, and workplans
  • Provide ongoing, data-driven program updates and reporting to stakeholders
  • Lead needs discovery, prioritize business requirements, partner with enterprise architecture teams, and align stakeholders on a common strategy for systems
  • On an ongoing basis, surface priority system problems, analyze them (root causes, etc.), develop solutions options, and align stakeholders on a final plan
  • Partner with engineering teams on design, development, and delivery of targeted system solutions (e.g., updates to the survey experience, custom attendance tracking solutions)
  • Partner with Cornerstone OnDemand to ensure Meta requirements are being met, while also ensuring Meta is leveraging the right capabilities mapped to our learning experience vision and enterprise architecture
  • Support LMS admin community needs, including issue tracking, resolution and/or escalation
  • Oversee creation, testing and launching of new/revised system enhancements
  • Lead cross-functional community of practice for LMS admin community and stakeholders
  • Respond as key escalation point to issues, bugs and address stakeholder feedback efficiently and with urgency
  • Continuously seek out people, process, and system improvements cross-functionally to create best possible system experience
  • Consult as the subject matter expert with partners and users to find fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Stay current with Learning/HR tool trends and developments and apply learning to improve internal tool and processes
  • Ensure appropriate integration of LMS solutions with other parts of the Meta learning ecosystem (e.g., Workday data)
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in learning technology, including understanding of LMSs, LCMSs, LXPs, and LRSs
  • Extensive experience working with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD), including expertise in tailoring CSOD configuration to meet different stability, scalability, and experience requirements
  • Experience in developing a learning technology strategy and leading execution against it (e.g., requirements gathering and user stories, agile work management)
  • Experience setting up system governance (user access, decision-making structure, metadata strategy, etc.) from scratch -- or strengthening an existing governance model -- to support diverse stakeholder needs
  • Proven systems and problem-solving approach, including experience thinking through workflows end-to-end to develop improved solutions
  • Experience leading complex 360 stakeholder groups (admins, engineers, ops teams, leaders, et al) to deliver on objectives
  • Experience working with admins, ops partners, and engineering teams to drive the roll-out of systems changes (testing, change management, etc.)
  • Experience drafting communications (e.g., slide decks)
  • Project management skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity
  • Experience toggling back-and-forth between strategic and operational needs, and understanding when either is needed
  • Experience working independently with minimum supervision and leading multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups/locations/vendors
  • Organization skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Process improvement background
  • Proficiency with data and analytics
  • 3+ years experience working in traditional learning roles (instructional design, facilitation, etc.)
  • PMP certification
