To support our growing company, we are hiring an Orientation Facilitation Manager to oversee our Employee Orientation Programs at Meta. The Orientation Facilitation Manager will support L&D orientation programs to ensure they are engaging and effective experiences that prepare new hires to thrive at Meta. This person will play a leadership role in key strategy and programming decisions, lead a regional team of facilitators, facilitate programs themselves, and act as a thought partner to Onboarding Operations, Product and cross-functional teams.
Orientation Facilitation Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Orientation Program Facilitators responsible for delivering orientation programs.
  • Facilitate Menlo Park orientation programs with facilitation, product and operational partners.
  • Partner with other regional leads to develop the strategy and plans to execute the delivery of a globally-aligned New Hire Orientation program in support of team and company growth.
  • Lead the development of facilitation excellence via structured feedback and coaching.
  • Lead the creation of accurate and effective onboarding content and messaging (reactive and proactive), and ensure alignment with broader cross-functional partners and company communication goals and strategies.
  • Build relationships and collaborate closely with multiple teams to gain consensus, resolve issues, and drive successful orientation experiences across orgs and levels.
  • Assess track and analyze the impact of orientation programs. Share insights, and develop recommendations for continuous improvement of solutions.
  • Develop the strategy for pre- and post-orientation facilitation support to new hires across our Meta communication mediums and tools.
  • Serve as a thought leader in Onboarding by staying up-to-date on the latest research and current trends in the space and benchmarking with similar programs in and outside of Meta.
  • Flexibility to travel to other Facebook offices on an as-needed basis.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading multiple projects across programs or regions.
  • 5+ years Learning and Development experience.
  • 5+ years program or project management experience.
  • Experience with adult learning and designing, developing, and delivering scaled learning solutions.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Working knowledge of change management principles.
  • Experience working in a highly-matrixed, continually changing, multinational organization.
  • Experience handling change and ambiguity and making informed decisions based on data.
  • Communication skills, relationship building skills, and experience influencing at all levels within an organization.
  • 8+ years of HR, corporate training, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Onboarding work experience.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience in Technology industry or startup.
