Sourcing Manager, Connectivity Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and formalize preferred suppliers, and guide sourcing decisions and engagement to them
  • Measure, report, and action supplier and internal administrative productivity, and identify and drive supply chain automation opportunities
  • Identify measurement criteria and ensure supplier contractual adherence, research root cause of issues, and drive improved performance
  • Ensure appropriate levels of strategy, definition and development to the supply chain (physical, financial and information flows) in the areas of design, source, make, and deliver have been implemented to support released products
Minimum Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Applied Sciences, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 24 months of work experience in job offered or technical or business-related occupation. Experience must include 6 months of experience in each of the following:
  • Managing new product introduction ("NPI") materials planning for projects
  • Improving efficiency and NPI process and transitioning products through the product release processes (engineering validation testing ("EVT"), design validation testing ("DVT"), production validation testing ("PVT") and mass production readiness
  • Works with engineering to identify preliminary critical parts, long-lead parts and inspection requirements. Assists in developing supplier and commodity road maps to engineering.
  • Establish new-part lead times, understand long-lead drivers and develop lead time mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring and reporting schedule compliance for NPI projects
  • Identifying and supporting product requirements
  • Cost, Terms and Contract negotiations
  • Internal stakeholder management
  • International logistics
