Enterprise Engineer Responsibilities
  • Build integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise software applications
  • Play a key role in reimagining productivity by developing transformative products to serve diverse aspects of Facebook’s enterprise
  • Work closely with product managers to drive strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Work with other engineers to analyze several management policies to ensure data integrity and system stability
  • Use expertise and skillset to drive strategic and tactical initiatives and to architect highly available, scalable, and secure systems
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted (remote work benefit)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 24 months of experience in each of the following:
  • Building software features and overseeing end to end, in addition to ensuring data integrity and system stability
  • Using code-base knowledge in API design to partner with designers to implement pixel-perfect designs to improve our UI/UX software applications and systems
  • Using programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or Golang to maintain, tune, and support software production quality
  • Using understanding of performance metrics to enhance business value by building interfaces for complex web applications and high software quality tools and applications
  • Building intuitive systems with various technologies with frameworks including Django, Kubernetes, or Elasticsearch
  • Working with code bases building micro services, APIs, or containerized applications
  • Conducting design and code reviews to ensure scalability, performance and alignment with standards and best practices
