In Marketing Science, our mission is to help all businesses grow by transforming marketing practices grounded in data and science. We are seeking a highly quantitative measurement professional, with marketing analytics experience to drive the Meta measurement and vertical strategy in Korea. We're looking for individuals with strong research and critical thinking skills, as well as familiarity with large data sets and data tools. Experience of working with brand and DR advertisers is necessary. To successfully influence how client’s conduct and use measurement, the candidate will need to be able to work cross-functionally with advertisers, sales teams, and other members of the Marketing Science team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advertising, intellectually curious, and able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects. They should demonstrate a strong understanding of the media landscape and ability to apply quantitative techniques to understand consumer behavior and advertising effectiveness. This is a full-time role based in Seoul (Korea).
Marketing Science Partner, Korea Responsibilities
  • Partner with Meta sales team to drive deep, strategic relationships with Meta clients through measurement and 'learning agendas' that highlight how a client can improve business outcomes by employing better measurement techniques.
  • Manage a complex set of client relationships across industry and client groups, functions, brands, agencies, to drive clients measurement objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth custom analysis and ad effectiveness studies to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and across media.
  • Communicate complex research results to the general audience.
  • Provide feedback to and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, R&D, and Partnership to identify opportunities for new features, products and partnerships and drive client engagement around measurement innovation, including products alphas and betas.
  • Educate clients, agencies, and the industry on Meta measurement and research capabilities.
  • Work on White Papers and thought leadership pieces on 'good measurement', DR and performance marketing measurement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Client-facing experience, including experience driving change through adoption of new products or research methods
  • Direct experience of analyzing data sets to understand patterns and provide client insights
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally and influence clients
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, an advanced degree in statistics, economics, engineering, behavioral or social science or a related quantitative degree preferred
  • Experience working with large data sets, statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS, STATA and hive and/or SQL
  • Direct experience independently scoping and executing analytical projects with clients and/or cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English and Korean is required because the role manages relationships / communications with clients in a Korea where communications are generally made in Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or an MBA
