The Business Ecosystem Partnerships team (BEP) provides businesses with the solutions they need to face the tasks of today, as well as the expertise to engineer a path to the future. We are looking for Product Partnerships Managers to build and grow Messaging partner ecosystems across Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Private messaging is one of the fastest growing areas of online communication in general and at Meta. Our team is cultivating and growing an ecosystem of messaging partners to enable end client success through their solutions. This role will focus on developing and managing end to end messaging programs that drive effectiveness, discovery, and adoption of partners at scale. You will be responsible for collaborating with other teams to think through end-to-end program development, testing, launching, and optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as product, partner management, business development, business operations, and data science. You will make an impact on a global scale working with teams that are building Facebook’s fast growing messaging products and partner ecosystems. To be successful in the role, you will be a well-rounded 'business athlete’ – an analytical problem solver, someone who understands what it takes to execute on a global level, and a dynamic people leader in complex cross-functional environments. You will also have a strong product sensibility, able to shape a partner program grounded in a solid understanding of Meta's messaging products, as well as a vision for how partner ecosystems can take Meta's messaging opportunities to the next level.
Product Partnerships Manager, Messaging Responsibilities
  • Execute in a highly cross-functional environment to grow our ecosystems of Messaging partners across Messenger, WhatsApp, and/or Instagram
  • Identify innovative opportunities to drive impact through an understanding of market trends and opportunities
  • Take a structured, data driven approach to identifying opportunities and evaluating impact
  • Develop deep relationships with key cross-functional partners and leaders across the company and coordinate with working teams (e. g. product, product marketing, business development, partner management, marketing, business planning and operations, data science)
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, driving the successful execution of global partner programs
  • Execute in fast-paced and highly iterative environment
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, program management, product marketing, product management, partnerships, business development, business strategy, or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience taking an analytical approach to solving ambiguous business problems
  • Experience executing through shifting priorities
  • Interpersonal and influencing experience
  • Experience formally, or informally, leading people and teams
  • Knowledge of organizational dynamics
  • Experience operating within matrixed cross-functional organizations
  • Experience building and scaling businesses, products, or programs/initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA
  • Experience in strategy consulting or management consulting
  • Experience in and understanding of the advertising industry and/or messaging
  • Knowledge of online business models and Internet/consumer technology
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
