As MP MPM in Reality Labs, you will launch and scale our high-quality products cost competitively and ensure product availability in the channels at the required times. You will oversee both material strategy and daily execution from ramp throughout the product life cycle, with the focus in supply availability, visibility and readiness in accordance with business goals. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignments, tackle challenges and deliver results ranging from Material Drive forecast, monthly capital request, Clear to Build (CTB) report, Risk Buy management, to liability projection and Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) mitigation. As we continue to grow, you will actively identify gaps in processes and lead projects for efficiency or standardization improvements.
Mass Production Material Program Manager (University Grad) Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Product Operation and Planning teams to develop material buffer strategies that maximize material availability and minimize liability risks.
  • Prepare monthly capital/budget request, manage risk buy process, provide material procurement authorization to Contract Manufacturer (CM) partners and monitor Purchase Order (PO) status thereafter.
  • Manage the material drive process and provide consolidated forecast to Global Supply Manager (GSM), acting as liaison between planning and procurement teams for demand vs supply discussion.
  • Close material shortages, optimize allocation across programs and report material status, opportunity and risk through CTB process.
  • Drive supply flexibility through lead time reduction, 2nd source, and Post Ramp Qualification (PRQ).
  • Project material liability to facilitate demand or roadmap discussion and mitigate E&O exposure.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Operations, Engineering or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
  • Experience or knowledge in supply chain operations and outsource manufacturing management.
  • Experience in project or program management and cross functional collaboration.
  • Experience in Excel modeling and other office software (Word, PowerPoint or equivalent).
  • Experience in communicating with all levels of partners and influencing decision making.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working and communicating cross-functionally in a team environment.
