The BPE team is responsible for creating and managing the tools which allow a wide variety of stakeholders to understand the business and make critical strategic decisions. BPE includes Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Program Management and Analytics. The Analytics pillar is recently created within BPE and will work closely with the Data Engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure that the data infrastructure is optimized for business users, that business needs are understood and defined, that best-in-class tools and reporting are in place and that business performance is well understood through ad hoc analyses.
Data Analyst, Business Products Engineering - Analytics Responsibilities
  • Provide the business with analysis and data driven recommendations to improve biz and operations
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document their needs
  • Build the dashboards and reports that allow stakeholders to understand business performance and take actions
  • Work closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure that the data infrastructure is optimized for business users - identify opportunities for improvements and work with DE team to get them implemented
  • Provide data technical expertise to run critical rhythm of the business activities like revenue forecasting
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in data visualization and dashboarding, preferably using Tableau
  • 5+ years of experience in data and analytical problem solving
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience using programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
  • Presentation experience - experience building impactful storytelling through presentations
  • Basic understanding of project management fundamentals and experience leading data-centric projects across a wide cross-functional landscape
  • Communication skills and experience explaining technical issues to both technical and business partners
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working within operations ecosystems
  • Experience creating data infrastructure (e.g. ETL pipeline creation)
