Meta Product Managers work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists and researchers to build products. We're looking for someone to come build the foundation of the future of Identity in VR and Reality Labs (RL)! You will work closely with strong PMs and create value for new segments of users adopting VR. At Connect this year, we announced exciting partnerships with Microsoft to build the future of work in VR. Work Identities is just one of many new segments that VR will serve in the future. In this role, you will be at the forefront of identity at Meta, and will help forge partnerships across VR, AR, Horizon, Work, and the existing family of apps to ensure solutions are future proofed and holistic. We are looking for a leader who cares deeply about VR, the work of RL, and building a core architecture that will scale into the future, while providing high quality, performant user experiences for our VR users today.
Product Manager, VR Identity System Lead Responsibilities
  • Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of Identity Systems and Platforms
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics
  • Understand Meta's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and comfortable aligning executives through complicated topics and tradeoff discussions
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years product management or related industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in the following:
  • Product management or product design
  • Working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones
  • Displaying leadership, organizational and execution skills
  • Gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution

  • Experience with Identity Systems including account creation, management, access
