As a member of the Metaverse Content Team, you will work with the most creative and innovative developers, creators, and publishers in VR. You will help manage these developers as they build games and social applications for Meta Quest. You will manage partners in Japan and other parts of APAC throughout their development cycle, from concept to launch and ongoing updates. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term success of our developers in the Meta Quest Store by acting as their point of contact and advising them on business model, production, and technical topics. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product, business development, store, marketing & communications teams to ensure a world-class developer experience, and that our consumers are thrilled with the caliber of content that your developer partners produce for Meta Quest.
Developer Relations - Publishing Responsibilities
  • Enabling and supporting developers of all types to deliver the world’s highest quality VR and AR experiences
  • Managing relationships with the top tier of developer partners, ensuring a world-class developer experience
  • Evangelizing new and existing VR technologies with developers, to ensure they are able to take full advantage of ongoing enhancements and improvements
  • Helping define success metrics for key accounts, and drive the achievement of those metrics
  • Collaborating with our Analytics teams to identify new areas and opportunities for growth, and provide insights and intelligence in support of our partners
  • Translating developer needs to internal product teams, and be an advocate for Meta-driven platform initiatives with our partners
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of business development, partnerships and/or publishing experience within the games, media, entertainment verticals
  • Business fluency in Japanese and English is required, both written and spoken language
  • Experience tracking and supervising app lifecycles end-to-end
  • Project management experience, with experience in managing milestones, schedules and tracked tasks
  • Track record of working with external developers or vendors
  • Demonstrated experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Experience building partnerships across multiple internal cross functional groups and external developers
  • Strategic thinker with the experience balancing and prioritize short-term solutions while keeping the long-term vision in mind
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of the video games industry
  • Understanding of general development pipelines for 3D applications
  • Familiarity with the emerging VR content ecosystem
  • Experience collaborating with XFN partners to create developer policies, platform terms of service, etc.
