Facebook seeks an experienced professional with a strong background in product marketing and project management to support go-to-market prioritization and strategy for our small business advertising solutions as they evolve with changing consumer expectations regarding privacy. The ideal candidate will have experience in product marketing or small business product development. They should be passionate about building product solutions that serve small businesses and excited by the challenge of developing creative go-to-market plans with limited resources. They must be able to build productive cross-functional relationships and exhibit excellent critical thinking skills. They must also have experience influencing stakeholders in a highly-matrixed organization. Excellent cross-functional leadership, ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, and comfort with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment is a must. This person should have empathy for people and businesses, as well as internal stakeholders like sales and product teams. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, a track record of resilience under pressure, and a vision for how we can better meet the needs of our small business customers.
Product Marketing Manager, Small Business - Privacy Responsibilities
  • Partner with product marketing teams and various cross-functional teams to set outbound priorities, define goals and develop effective and compelling solutions
  • Partner with the Business Product Marketing team to develop and drive go-to-market through various channels (including press, events, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Business Product Marketing in global markets to distill and surface market intel to shape future products
  • Craft briefing materials and present to executives on a regular basis
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and expertly prioritize work to efficiently deploy our finite go-to-market capacity
  • Manage high priority, fast moving decisions and communication planning
  • Solve global challenges with scaled solutions
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience simplifying complexity and communicating with technical, business, and external stakeholders
  • Experience setting priorities, problem solving, multi-tasking, and working independently
  • Experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels
  • Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional managers and teams to drive results
  • Flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment
  • Understanding of our product suite, industry, and competitive landscape as it relates to small business
  • 6+ years experience in product marketing, ecommerce, digital marketing, consulting, communications, information technology, or equivalent
  • Communication and presentation skills, and experience distilling complex information for unfamiliar audiences
  • BA/BS degree
