Unit 2 Games is an award-winning, Meta-owned games studio based in Leamington Spa, UK. We were formed in 2017 to build Crayta - our dream to make game creation accessible to anyone and everyone. We are looking for a Senior UI designer to develop the look & feel of our UI for Crayta. In this role you will be designing beautiful and dynamic UI for our game using vector and raster art packages as well as UI/UX prototyping tools such as Figma.
UI Designer - Unit 2 Games Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the development of UI art throughout the game (using Coherent Gameface).
  • Realise new UI features and their assets, working alongside UX and code developers.
  • Improve existing UI features through UX iteration and live service metics, including conversion for new platforms and regions.
  • Develop the quality and aesthetic of Crayta's UI via creating a consistent UI design language for users focused on intuitive understanding and accessibility.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Highly proficient, and experienced designer able to iterate and improve designs and communicate and collaborate with other designers.
  • 5+ years of experience making UI for games.
  • Excellence of artistic ability to rapidly iterate, develop, illustrate and implement to the defined quality, style and specifications.
  • Experienced in the use of packages such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with UX design or an eagerness to learn new skills and methodologies.
  • Experience in independently delivering UIs and UI assets.
