Product Growth Analyst Responsibilities
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, mathematics, and statistics, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with both our consumer and business products
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and allow us to monitor the heath of product adoption in the markets we serve
  • Through quantitative analysis, identify the opportunities most important for growth, to remove barriers for product adoption, retention, engagement, and/or monetization, and partner with our growth-focused engineering teams to execute on projects based on what's identified to accelerate the growth and adoption of Facebook Inc. products in all the markets we serve
  • Influence and inform product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations, and communicate the state of business, experiment results, opportunities, etc. to product teams
Minimum Qualifications
  • Data visualization: using data visualization tools (Tableau, Adobe Analytics, etc.) to build product dashboard and present findings
  • Web analytics: use web analytics tools to understand user conversion rate and identify opportunity to improve product adoption
  • Quantitative analysis: perform quantitative analysis to deliver insights and influence product roadmap
  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 6 months of experience in the following:
  • Marketing analytics: design, forecast and analyze marketing campaign across owned and paid channels to maximum marketing effectiveness
  • Developing and implementing experiments to test hypothesis
  • Leading and directing responses in communications involving data analytics
  • Data mining
  • Write SQL/SAS queries to extract and analyze structured and unstructured data and work with large data resources (Teradata, Hadoop, etc.)
