We are seeking an experienced leader to lead a global team that is responsible for delivering business services, including Business and Operations Program Management, Information and Knowledge Management, Technical Documentation, RFP and vendor related services, and developing new services. This leader will be responsible for defining and delivering highly scalable, reliable, leading-edge services and solutions that keep Infrastructure’s Data Center Teams nimble and one step ahead. This person will be an inspirational leader that can gain the support of stakeholders, teams and workstream owners. As a leader, the ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats and provide coherent direction and inspiration to the entire team. The leader required for this role will have a demonstrated track record of being an innovative, intellectually curious problem solver capable of directing, coaching and mentoring teams to accomplish the impossible. This person should be able to drive the conversation toward a solution by including the right people, process, and technology.
IBIZ OPM Leader Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategy allowing the organization to scale and improve its operations to support Meta’s Infra Data Center Group’s growth.
  • Build and lead an organization with stakeholder focus, taking service delivery and operations to the next level of industry leadership.
  • Understand, collaborate and influence across functional organizations. Forge partnerships across Meta Infra to ensure all organizations are aligned.
  • Build high performing teams which includes mentoring and developing managers and individual contributors as well as hiring top talent.
  • Build and lead a world-class team providing business services, including Business and Operations Program Management, Information and Knowledge Management, Technical Documentation, RFP and vendor related services, and developing new services capable of scaling with Meta through continued high growth.
  • Lead and influence engineering and operations programs and teams, influencing system architecture and design to meet Infra Data Center Group’s business requirements.
  • Understand the requirements of upstream and downstream stakeholders and collaborate with them to produce end-to-end scalable solutions.
  • Lead automation and operationalization efforts, improving tooling and operational processes. Understand implications of process and tooling changes.
  • Approximately 10-15% travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of leadership, business plus technical program management or Data Center management experience.
  • Understanding of production environments, systems, and operational dependencies. Experience with scale, with emphasis on Reliability, Efficiency, and Scalability.
  • Experience in working with and/or leading engineering and operations functions.
  • Thought leader within the organization, someone with experience to help advance internal solution strategy globally and challenge others in the organization to change.
  • Appreciation for the Customer/Stakeholder. Proven experience to think Customer/Stakeholder-first, successful track record in building strategies and solutions to meet Customer/Stakeholder needs.
  • Proven organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration, experience to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment consisting of operations, infrastructure and engineering teams.
  • Experience thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment where you must take on multiple responsibilities and do what it takes to get things done.
  • Experience in development of a management team, personnel management, and staffing.
  • Experience successfully leading complicated projects and programs, experience moving programs from concept to completion. Knowledge in program management methodologies.
  • Experience in building services and service delivery.
  • Understanding of implications of process and tooling (automation/systems) as well as organizational changes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Track record of successfully implementing and managing infrastructure programs (think data centers, capacity, networking, hardware, and software).
  • Experience in a professional services firm, developing and delivering customer solutions.
