Join us in building the Metaverse! In this unique role as Marketing Lead for Horizon Workrooms, you’ll be part of a newly created marketing team for Meta Reality Labs and thought partner to the Horizon Workrooms team. You’ll be responsible for defining the Workrooms brand, establishing marketing strategies and briefs, developing multi-audience marketing plans, partnerships strategy and working with cross functional teams to bring the plans to life and helping define the future of work in VR. This role is a unique role in the organization with focus on both B2B and B2C. Candidates may have experience with one or both of these audiences. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketer, strong brand steward, adept at developing brand strategy, experienced with full funnel consumer marketing, incorporates and leverages data and insights into strategy and briefs to deliver attributable marketing programs. This candidate will also have strong partnership skills working with development, program management/project management and sales teams.
Marketing Lead - Horizon Workrooms Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Horizon Workrooms that meets both short- and long-term brand and business goals.
  • Brand Steward: Partnering with the larger Meta organization to discover and develop additional opportunities to showcase Workrooms.
  • Distill and craft inspiring creative briefs from consumer and cultural insights.
  • Steward the integrated marketing processes with the team and cross-functional partners from concept, launch, iteration and optimization.
  • Lead relationships with external agencies and internal creatives, using communication plans, briefs, message strategy and frameworks to guide differentiated storytelling and execution.
  • Challenge the status quo and elevate briefs from functional to emotional or cultural challenges.
  • Build a diverse and inclusive environment across the team, models inclusive behaviors and holds others accountable for ensuring the same.
  • Establish working relationships with Product Management, Product Marketing, Communications, and other key partners across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent Marketing experience
  • 12+ years of Marketing experience or Master’s Degree and 8+ years of experience
  • Experience composing clear and compelling briefs
  • Experience building relationships and navigating cross-matrix organizations
  • Experience with brand and partnership pitches
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns in partnership with product marketing, creative and production teams
  • Expertise in the various marketing channels with a basic understanding of channel function and formats. Demonstrates an understanding of marketing and sales funnels and how different tactics and channels drive impact across the entirety of a prospect and customer journey
  • Experience using data and insights to inform decisions and briefs
  • Experience managing external partners and agencies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in marketing partnerships from deal points to creative execution or enterprise deal development
  • Experience working with communities or loyalty programs via marketing
