At Meta Reality Labs (RL), we build products that help people feel connected anytime, anywhere. The Home and Work Product Group within RL is focused on building communal devices and software experiences that help people connect in the spaces they live and work in – with friends, family, co-workers, and communities. We’re looking for an experienced Director of TPM to lead an organization of SW TPMs responsible for building products that cater to the Work use-case (in-office, remote, and hybrid work solutions) for prosumers, SMBs, and large enterprises. This leader would work in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional leaders. They will influence product strategy, define execution frameworks, and build and scale a team of TPMs to deliver the product launches.
Technical Program Management Director - Portal Workplace Responsibilities
  • The right candidate will possess a strong program management skills, adequate technical background, experience leading large projects across multiple software teams, as well as building and growing an organization of TPMs. They must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means they are not only able to manage the team, develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up their sleeves, dig in and get the job done as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with building, growing, and leading a team of TPMs
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent experience
  • Organizational communication, relationship building and collaboration with cross-functional teams, multi-tasking experience
  • Knowledge of software development processes, tools and best practices
  • Experience building and shipping products/services
