We are looking for a Business Program Manager to join the Home Research organization, to support Home’s Director of Research and leadership team in managing operational and cultural programming. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment; is selfless in their commitment, yet sees this as an incredible learning opportunity. As a critical part of the team, this role gives you an opportunity to collaborate and drive strategic initiatives of the Home Research organization. A successful Business Program Manager will be organized, with proven project management experience, shifting seamlessly between helping to drive larger org priorities and smaller daily tasks. This person should be a team-player and eager to work in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment.
Business Program Manager, Home Research Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Home leadership team and other key partners to drive priorities for the function and/or organization
  • Oversee and manage ongoing operational needs and key deliverables for Home to continue elevating Home research practices and execution. This includes owning the development, organization and execution of large, complex projects from inception to operational execution, and effectively developing and communicating program statuses
  • Potential projects may include: helping ensure efficient utilization of Home’s research vendor & rolling research programs, supporting Home’s execution of Better Research initiatives, developing and iterating on Home wiki/onboarding tools, and potential budget support
  • Develop and drive programming to build, support, and maintain the Home Research team organizational health
  • Potential projects may include: Team Health Checks, manager feedback programs, Learning & Development programming, etc.
  • Support partnership efforts with other functions such as Design or Data Science
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with project management, research, or operations or equivalent experience
  • Experience working effectively with multiple levels of management, and cultivating internal relationships
  • Proven experience managing multiple tasks under timelines and shifting priorities
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized and structured manner
  • Communication skills for interacting with and influencing cross functional stakeholders and senior management with the experience adapting communication style to suit different audiences
