Producer - Beat Games Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end production of development projects including new game features.
  • Partner with project leads and team resources to ensure production schedules are met and maintain a cohesive creative vision throughout the development cycle.
  • Collaborate with leads to make well informed decisions regarding development priorities and resource allocation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple cross-functional teams and establish strong partnerships
  • Actively identify opportunities for process and tooling improvements and relationship building around you, and partner with others to bring these ideas to fruition.
  • Own milestone and sprint planning, retrospectives, and art/design/development approval processes to drive high quality results.
  • Ability to proactively communicate while identifying the right audience with appropriate tone, clarity, and timing
  • Comfortable with ambiguity but with an ability to drive towards clarity
  • Encourage & participate in open communication within the development team, ensuring outcomes are well-documented and surfaced.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure coverage of new features and content as they become ready for testing.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to help guide key project decisions through presentation of live game metrics.
  • Comfortable escalating issues to senior management as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and constructive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of proven experience in a Game Production role or similar.
  • Minimum of two AAA shipped titles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time and project management skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and XFN partners.
  • Skilled in navigating conflict and driving consensus with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of various production processes, methodologies, and project management tools used by development teams such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills sharing feature updates as an embedded team producer.
  • Mature game development life cycle knowledge that can identify and mitigate production risks within the Studio.
  • Experience working on a live game - maintaining a frequent release cadence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • VR development experience
  • Analytical skills and experience with data-driven product design and decision-making.
  • Experience with co-development amongst internal and external development teams.
  • Ability to manage and support multiple game feature projects simultaneously within the Studio.
  • Passion for gaming and for keeping up to date with the current best practices in the industry.
