Meta is looking for an Office Lead for its Zurich office. The Office Lead will work with the Site Leadership and cross functional partners to make Meta Zurich a world-class place to work. The Office Lead must have a strong communications and project management background with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and scale. This person should be a team-player and eager to work in a fast-paced, high expectations environment. To be successful, the candidate must develop and maintain strong relationships with a number of cross-functional partners, especially leaders in the office.
Office Lead, Zurich Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic internal and external programming, including business case development, approval process and implementation
  • Proactively identify and address problems and opportunities for the office
  • Develop, implement & refresh Meta Zurich internal strategy across Strategic Pillars
  • Develop & deliver local office welcome programme and belonging programme to support the integration of new joiners to Meta
  • Oversee change management planning, comms, operational risks & issues management & implementation of new internal policies
  • Organize leadership team offsites / seasonal events as required
  • Partner with Site Leaders on site wide communications
  • Partner closely with HR to understand and proactively shift programming to the needs of our employees
  • Foster XFN site partnerships with Facilities, Security, Culinary, IT, Contingent Workers Business Partner, Employee Branding, HRBPs and the HR Site Lead
  • Influence XFN partners to reduce XFN friction and improve service delivery
  • Proactively manage site budget Represent Meta Zurich in external speaking engagements & panels
  • Liaise with external organizations on behalf of Meta
  • Manage executive visits to site including briefing documents, logistics, and announcements to office
  • Provide an escalation path for office related issues, feedback, concerns, and suggestions and triages accordingly
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and confidentiality
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with office management, facilities management and/or event management
  • Project management experience, including leading cross-functional projects and juggling multiple initiatives. Experience prioritizing multiple projects
  • Experience influencing cross functional partners operating in different geographies.
  • Proven experience for strategic thought leadership, innovation, and change management
  • Interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally across different job functions (ie. tech and non-tech)
  • Experience prioritizing multiple projects
  • Fluent in German and English
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS in a related subject
  • Experience working with international teams across time zones
