ASIC Engineer Responsibilities
  • Engage in end-to-end ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) development.
  • Work on firmware and driver development, front-end and back-end standard cell ASIC development (including algorithm and architectural modeling, silicon architecture, micro-architecture, RTL development, Design Verification, FPGA emulation, co-simulation, simulation acceleration, synthesis, and post-silicon validation).
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with internal and external cross-functional teams, across all levels.
  • Conduct soft and hard IP identification, selection and IP licensing.
  • Define, debug, implement and deliver system solutions around purpose-built ASICs.
  • Create test plans and define test coverage.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 12 months of experience in each of the following:
  • Testbenches
  • Systemverilog and Verilog
  • EDA Tools
  • Microarchitecture
  • Object Oriented Design and Development
  • UVM and OVM Methodologies
  • Constraint Random Verification
  • PCIe
  • RTL design, coding, simulation, and verification
  • CPU and computer architecture
  • SoC verification and security
