The Process Improvement Manager will be an essential role within a newly formed team, Meta’s Global Meetings & Events Enablement team (MEET@Meta). They will be responsible for continuous process improvement and strategic communication for the event community at Meta. This role has a heavy focus on stakeholder management and will foster relationships with the event community to understand pain points and develop solutions with an eye towards efficiency and risk management. This person will play a key role in developing, executing, and maintaining the communication plan that drives awareness across stakeholders on how to best partner with MEET@Meta to streamline the meetings and events process. Initiative responsibilities include improving existing standards and guidelines. This person will partner closely with the MEET@Meta Lead, Event Technology Manager, and Data Analyst in addition to cross-functional teams and business groups. A successful candidate is a highly creative problem solver, who uses both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions. This person should be able to think critically and strategically, and execute tactically. The candidate should have process improvement experience, but also act as a strong project manager who is able to manage relationships at all levels and display strong organizational and communication skills.
Events Process Improvement Manager Responsibilities
  • Prioritize needs of cross-functional stakeholders within the Meta event Community based on value and risk to drive solutions and their timing
  • Capture and utilize stakeholder feedback to improve processes and customer experience Develop scaling methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness for MEET@Meta
  • Implement key performance indicators to track progress relative to key metrics and goals
  • Develop and manage strategic communications and engagement plans that use a variety of Meta’s internal communication platforms
  • Update operating procedures, policies, and other documentation to reflect changes to processes
  • Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to create awareness and adoption of process changes, delivering training(s) as needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • Project management skills with experience estimating timing and completion of tasks
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and willingness to adapt and re-prioritize in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced relationship management skills and willingness to manage and influence cross-functional business stakeholders
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work, experience juggling multiple priorities under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in a process improvement, project management, or related role
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in corporate Meetings & Events and Sourcing functions
  • Experience in operation excellence and process improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing transformational projects that require deep level of change management and communication
  • Experience in service/customer-oriented roles, including professional services or consulting
  • Experience collaborating and communicating across a global team
  • Experience in change management and communications from strategy through execution
