This role supports program management and process improvement in Data Protection Legal’s Privacy Program Management team. Your work will help scope and deliver key Data Protection projects & programs in support of our mission to honor people’s privacy in everything Meta does. In this role, you will partner with product, business, and legal teams across the company to execute strategic projects in support of legal advice. The ideal person will exhibit leadership, persistence, patience, attention to detail, be self-motivated, and have a collaborative, positive attitude with the goal to ascertain the operating effectiveness of key relationships and operational processes. This is a full-time position that will be based at our International headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. Privacy Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Be part of a unique program team which is focussed on delivering high quality projects to support the delivery of legal advice and GDPR Compliance.
  • Integrate and synthesize information from multiple teams, including legal and policy domain knowledge, in order to analyze complex issues, mitigate risks and solve problems
  • Become a trusted partner working cross-functionally with the Data Protection Legal team, Meta Ireland (FIL) and its partner teams globally to investigate and assess processes, document, gather requirements, develop improvements and help implement improved processes to closure.
  • Lead multiple initiatives and complex projects to execute against project plans and compliance objectives
  • Display effective organization skills and manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Demonstrate data analytical skills and the ability to work with attention to detail, maintaining a high bar of consistency, accuracy, and quality.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management
  • Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Be motivated by the opportunity to solve privacy problems within a compliance and operations environment
  • Responsibility for the the successful delivery of Data Protection projects & programs Responsibility for project planning, roadmap management and communications to management
  • Utilizing knowledge of GDPR to scope new projects, identify gaps and execute strategic projects in support of legal advice
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in programme management roles within the technology or professional services industries in the area of data privacy, compliance, risk management, and security.
  • 5+ years experience leading projects and project teams, working with management to proactively solve problems
  • Experience in developing roadmaps, project planning and project register management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Risk Management, Business or related experience in Compliance/Regulatory Operations
  • Experience in consulting and/or working with management teams
  • Experience working on privacy or compliance related projects or audit / implementation of control frameworks.
  • Program Management experience on multiple large-scale projects and programs that impact the organization’s trajectory with a track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in high-tech ops and compliance space
  • Knowledge of the compliance and regulatory landscape and trends impacting technology companies (specifically GDPR)
  • Experience drafting process documentation in support of compliance processes
  • Demonstrated sharp attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables in the allotted time frame
  • Industry certifications relating to security, privacy, and risk management, such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or Information security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, and CRISC.
